We’re looking for someone who is experienced in Office Management, with a passion for delivering high standards and experienced in working within a busy professional services environment. The role will predominantly be based in our Manchester office, with some travel to our Liverpool City Centre office as this role is responsible for the North West branches. The Office Administrator will ensure both offices run smoothly, and our colleagues are able to work in a professional welcoming environment.

More about the opportunity

  • You will be the go-to person and point of contact for all our colleagues that work in the office and/or visit, ensuring a welcoming and professional approach.
  • The Office Administrator will manage and supervise a team of Administration Assistants, to ensure the delivery of a proactive, professional and high-quality support service to our lawyers, paralegals and support staff across the Manchester and Liverpool offices.
  • You will provide support to the business by providing data on your relevant office/branch.
  • Coordinate invoices, expenses and take ownership for the office expenditure budget.
  • Support with the onboarding, induction and offboarding of colleagues in conjunction with IT and HR.
  • Ensure compliance with the general Health & Safety of the office, such as regular checks and risk assessments.
  • Manage property matters such as, liaising with landlord agents, maintain office equipment and furnishings, coordinate with external providers such as cleaning staff and contractors.


A bit about you

  • As the right candidate, you will have experience of managing a small team and proven experience of managing office-based projects would be advantageous.
  • You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of health & safety and any associated procedural requirements.
  • The ability to effectively communicate and build good relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the firm is key to this role.
  • The successful candidate will thrive in a busy working environment, not be afraid to get stuck into the detail and support your team. We are looking for someone who is well-organised and has a pro-active way of working.
